Projects

Lilac House

Located near the Avenue of Fashion in Detroit The Lilac house is the first of hopefully many house/ neighborhood revitalization projects. Purchased in march of 2021 the Lilac House was nothing but a broken, leaky shell and is set to be completed June of 2022.

  • Lilac House was a personal project, every part of the house, electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC ETC. was all done by myself with no help from hired contractors. I am proud of the work I have done to rebuild a beautiful home, and now I reap the benefits by calling it my home.

  • Lilac House was remodeled in a way to pay respects to its origins but also a look to the future, the main floor bathroom kept its original tile and the exterior brick and some windows were brought back to original condition. The rest of the home was styled to look mid century modern and plenty of smart home features were added.

  • This house has taught me so many tangible and intangible skills. I am proud of over the year of work and sweat I have put in and I think that shows how dedicated of an individual I am.
